Teacher applicants must possess a valid MN teaching license issued from the Minnesota Department of Education, or have obtained a “Short-Call Substitute” license, also issued from the MN Department of Education (MDE).
Paraprofessional applicants must have a high school diploma. Experience working with at-risk students is preferred. Applicants must be computer literate, flexible, creative, and open to direction.
Hiawatha Valley Education District continuously accepts applications for prospective substitute teachers and paraprofessionals to sub at our Caledonia and Kellogg locations, which include Elementary EBD Programs and an Area Learning Center.
