The Birth to 3:Help Me Grow Program exists to provide families of infants and toddlers with in-home early intervention services, support and transition planning to preschool settings. This program facilitates interagency collaboration in providing services to young children with special needs and their families.
In each district served, an Interagency Early Intervention Committee provides collaboration opportunities with various community agencies for parents of young children with disabilities or delays in each school district.
Early Childhood Special Education Teachers/Coordinators are employed in HVED's North and South Clusters. These teachers facilitate interagency collaborations and provide in-home evaluation, early-intervention services, family support, transition planning to preschool settings, and referral to community resources.
